I just want a SFF that can be used for just browsing the web, or doing HW or what not. I am also doing it because i want something that i can leave turned on that doesn't make a whole lot of noise. So far i am looking at.

UPDATED....with advice from a helpful ATer

Case

I was kind of aiming for the Cube design. But I am up for anything. To bad antec's model is for BTX.

Board

Board2

Processor

I already have the memory and the hard drive. That is the main reason why i am chosing this is because i already have the memory, and i want to minimize what i would have to purchase.

It doesn't have to be Intel either. As long as it is compatible with this RAM. And supports a Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 160GB SATA drive. Then i am good to go.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks...

yeah i know you just want it for browsing the web and such, but a socket 754 really has no future. I would suggest looking for at least a skt 939.

I'm fairly new at this myself, so my advice might not be as good as that of others here, but I was looking at the sk21g for a while. From everything I've read, it seems to be a cool, quiet, stable system. Few people there have had problems with them, and a lot of people have remarked about how trouble-free and quiet they are. One guy at the Sudhian forums was even worried that his temperatures were too low, only to be told that it was normal. If you have minimal needs and no expectations to ever upgrade it (because you won't be able to), then it might be a very nice solution for you. I believe it's the cheapest Shuttle out there, and there's no need (in my opinion) to go 939 if you're not going to need anything more than a Sempron. The cheapest 939 Shuttle is $70-80 more than the sk21g. If you're gaming, of course, that would be a different story altogether.

Regardless, be sure to check out the Sudhian Forums, where you can learn all you want about sff systems.

Thank you that was quite helpful. The NSK1300 is in BTX form and it seems the type of features that i am looking for are only on the ATX. I'll look into it more.
