Building a new system and have a few small questions.

I won't be Over Clocking, and I probably won't be buying anything for a month so prices are sure to change. My main question is whether If buying that good of a graphics card is overkill with this machine. Would I be better served spending some of that money elsewhere?

Currently BF2, I guess what I mean by overkill is would I be better served getting a slightly worse graphics card and a slightly better processer.

I don't think your video card is being completely hamstrung by your CPU, if that's what you are asking. Most modern games are VPU-limited, so it would be rather hard to get an "overkill" video card with modern hardware. Maybe if you were running a slower 754 Sempron or Celeron, but not with the 3200+ Venice, I don't think.
