Building a new PC

I am looking to build a new DX10 PC, but I have been a little out of touch with the whole PC hardware scene for a little while. I am looking for a good 680i motherboard, an nVidia 8800 GTX, decent RAM for the whole thing, and a case and PSU for it all. The processer i'm looking at is the Core 2 Duo E6600 because it's reasonably cheap and has good performance. Could anyone make any recommendations for any of this? Thanks a lot.

OK, well I read some of the other threads and settled on the BFG 680i MB, 2x1GB OCZ Gold memory, and the MSI 8800 GTX. The only things i'm stuck on are the case and PSU. Can anyone point me to a good one, or at least a good thread aobut a good one? Thanks.

A case is mostly about your personal style. Some like simple & plain while others just can't get enough bling.

According to some, if a PS works at all, it's a good one. I don't subscribe to that theory.
Personally, I'd get a quality Enermax or Seasonic maybe FSP in the 400-560W range. It all depends one how hard you're going to be pushing it as far as power hungry components.

So I think I've settled on this. Could someone give me some feedback? Thanks.

CPU Intel E6600
Motherboard BFG 680i
RAM OCZ Gold 2x1GB
Video Card MSI 8800 GTX
Hard Drive Seagate 7200.10 400GB
Optical Drive ASUS SATA 18x DVD Burner
PSU OCS StealthXStream 600W
Case Antec P180

Thanks a lot guys. customcoms, the reason I'm going for the nVidia, is because I'd like the ability to upgrade to SLI in a bit. And I also appreciate the recommendation on the PSU. Thanks a lot both of you.
