I just purchased a new ASUS P5E3 Deluxe motherboard, 2GB of Patriot DDR3 memory, eGeForce 8800 GTS, SATA 10k raptor hdd, and a Q6600 2.4ghz. I put everything together, so frusturating! Haha... Anyways, I finally booted it, and nothing comes up on the monitor, it just stays black... Any ideas where the problem might be?

Thanks everyone! Any help is greatly appreciated!

and make and model of PSU, if you could please? Patriot does not list as carrying any ram that will work on that board.
I am going to assume the 24pin main, and the 8pin 12v are both securely plugged into the board? does the video card need a power cord as well?

Coolermaster Real Power Pro 750watt.
I tried to video cards to make sure too, and yes, it has a plug for power, and I plugged it in.

I think you may be right about the memory, I just went through the owners manual, and under the "Motherboard Qualified Vendors" list, it doesn't list Patriot, is this an issue?

well, since Patriot does not list that board as one they have any ram compatible for, it is a very distinct possibility.
