Building a new PC for a friend

Will all these parts fit together?

The only thing left is the processor, and a sound card if there's cash left over. There's a bunch of weird names for the processors, like Clawhammer and crap. What am I looking for for a good one? Definitely want to go AMD and a 64 bit processor, but there's all these FX things and whatnot. I r confused!
 
First, yes, absolutely these parts will fit together.

Second, there are two "hot" AMD processors right now: The 3700+ San Diego single core and the dual core (also designated X2) 3800+ Manchester. If he can't afford either I suggest the 3200+ Venice core processor.

A good power supply would be a name brand that IMO is in the 500 watt range. Enermax, Fortran, and Antec are a few. There are others.

Besides Creative sound cards look into M-Audio. They make very good sound cards.

* If possible money wise I would consider another gig of RAM. Also, EPoX 9NPA+Ultra is another good motherboard that you might want to consider.
 
Ok. Yeah, my friend uses some cheap headphones. That processor looks good Inline.
Someone suggested to me I use 2 512 sticks of RAM rather than 1 stick of a gig. Any reason for that?

For faster timings which does not really matter.I'd get 1gb stick now and add 1 more later or if his the budget allows it, get 2gb right away.
