Wait for vista buddy, you'll be better off. I've heard nasty stuff about the current XP64 causing rendering artifacts (i am a 3D hobbist) and if it causes rendering artifacts, i wont recommend it to be run. So, it comes down the the maturity of 64bit OS/App and HW. It seems that hardware is mature enuf now....
