Without a doubt, the MAX is the board. The rest looks OK. You can have a lot of fun with that CRUCIAL Ram too.

Its a decent everyday price. They had 400gb sata segates the 7200.10 for 100 bucks from outpost. Between those two boards I would not get the DS3 since you not building a band for the buck build.

Much better PSU choices for what you're doing. You can always add a Fortron Booster in a empty 5.25" bay later if needed.

I don't think any of those PSU's are as good as that OCZ one............

Go for the Seagate hard drive.

SILVERSTONE SST-ST365 ATX 360W Power Supply - Retail for a PS, should work fine. if you need more power they have bigger versions.
