Hello. I am new here and need some help. I am building a computer and I have all the parts and am about to order them, but i gotta know if they are all compatible. I think they are. Also I would like to change my Processor, Motherboard, and Power Supply. Could somebody suggest something? I do not want it to go over 1200 and I want it to be gaming.

It's a small thing but its a little awkward having to open up each link to find out what you are referring to.

The PD 930 is outclassed by the Athlon 64 X2 3800 which should be similar price.

Don't order now, you will be wasting your money.

Surely you've heard of Core 2 Duo (Conroe)?

Thank you for the suggestion but could you also suggest a similar priced motherboard compatible with it?

Tomorrow, but I doubt you'll actually be able to buy anything then. Probably within the next week or so...

Tomorrow, if you can find one. I think for Joe consumer it will be a while, the OEMs are going to grab them all, or so I have heard.

You could go AM2, that's what I just did for my gaming rig: Thread

the AMD price cuts and Conroe availability questions made this extremely attractive to me.
