Building a mini cube case.

I am trying to build a case for a computer terminal. I have all the parts already but need something to put it in. A normal case won't work, because I was planning to put a 10" LCD on the front of the case. The 10" LCD cannot stand alone as it was meant to be mounted. The case is going to be about 12 to 16" cubed. I was wondering where can I find a metal box, any kind of metal box. I have a boat load of tools, but I can't weld. Or should I just make the entire thing out of wood?
