I used this forum to build a computer several years ago and after a few upgrades it has gotten to the point where it desperately needs to be replaced. It lasted 7 years.

So the kind of setup I'm looking to put together this time is:

Ryzen 5 2600
Radeon RX 5700 XT ASRock Challenger D OC 8GB
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB
GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4
Corsair VS Series 650W 80+ White
SanDisk SSD PLUS 480GB
Seagate BarraCuda 2TB Internal Hard Drive HDD
Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1 mATX

Last time some people were incredibly helpful finding bundles and pointing out models or components that could easily be improved upon. From what I've been reading these are all pretty decent components. I just wanted to get a second opinion from the pros.

I will be using this computer for gaming and music recording. My budget is around a grand. But that also includes a new monitor as I have been using a 32 in vizio TV for about 11 years and it's time to swap it out as well. I'll be sourcing the parts in the US. 1080 resolution. No over clocking needed. I'm more concerned about function than looks. So is this a fairly decent setup? What would you suggest changing?

I wanted to say THANKS for posting a link to that sweet case! I just ordered one, intend to build a micro-ATX gaming PC in it, with an MSI PRO-VDH MAX mobo, a Ryzen R5 1600 CPU (would use a 3600 if I had a spare, or a 3300X if they were actually available), 16GB of Team DDR4-3200 RAM (will probably have to turn down to 3000 speed, for the 1600 "AE" CPU), and either one of my (precious) GTX 1660 ti cards, or possibly, my EVGA GTX 1650 D6 SC Ultra card.
For a PSU, I wanted modular, so I opted for an Antec Earthwatts Gold EAG 650W for $90. It's actually semi-modular, which is fine. I'm not to sure about cable-management in a cube case like that, or adding RGB fans or AIO LC kit, even though the description mentions AIO rads.

Oh it is super sweet, and huge inside it, I absolutely LOVE it! I threw a old school mobo in it, and running win xp to play all my old games from waaaaaaay back in the day. Im going to buy another one in black once I find a X570 MATX mobo to put in it I can afford. But because it only has one drive bay, and I wanted to use my old school fan controller in it, I opted to buy a usb slim drive I glued to the side of it, and worked out really good. And because its 2 levels, you can put all the crap on the bottom you dont need to be seeing, and all the good stuff up top :D OH and DO NOT LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTIONS as far as the top coming off, for they say it just poops off, and I broke it, because it fails to tell you there are also screws on each corner to take off before you can do that, and as you can see I run another set of lights up there, for there is a ton of room for ccl lights, and for sure led strips, to make the x and handles glow ;) I run 2 lights up top, and 2 on the bottom, and the blue in the front are already in it. The knob in the front is a fan potentiometer for the front fan,you can hook it up or not, buts its going to take some thinking, for it all uses molex connectors.
And the mobo tray is removable to hook it all up before putting it in. But it is a cheap case that looks like a million bucks, but do keep that in mind, it is cheap :O

Its not as tall, or as long (18x16") as my Nzxt H510i, and just slightly wider (12") then it how ever. Width does not include my DVD glued to the side.
