hmm for the price thats a good machine but for being a basic server its a little much. very nice price tho.

im a fan of the cl epia idea of a 'home' server(something that doesnt need to be too powerful) link

your setup would be fine tho....

also, no linux? :(

No....an out of date desktop computer isn't a server.
You should take your 300+ dollars and go on ebay and look at some used compaq proliants. They are cheap and useful.
A manufactured server would be way more reliable and better suited to what you want to do anyways.

and who make a computer with 384mb of ram, really?
