Ok, I'm heading off to college, so I'm planning to build a computer suited for a LAN party and as a PVR. Other than the LAN gaming, all my gaming will be done on another computer, so I shouldn't need too much computing power, other than the vid card.

Here's what I have so far:

Case/PSU: Aspire X-QPack - Case Link - 85.00

Motherboard: MSI RS480M-IL Socket 754 ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 - Mobo Link - 77.00

CPU: AMD Sempron 64 3000+ Palermo - CPU Link - 89.00

Memory: Corsair ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512) - Memory Link - 89.50

Vid Card: Sapphire X700 OEM 128 MB PCI-E Card - Vid Card Link - 103.00

New Vid Card: Unknown GeForce PCX 5900XT 128MB - Vid Card Link - 64.50 shipped, got it because it was about the same (imo) but much cheaper. What do you think?

HDD: Undecided, waiting for a good deal, preferably between 200 and 300 GB with no rebates. Suggestions? - ~115.00, being pessimistic, I'd like to be ~100.00

Sound Card: Planned to go with onboard, but this Audigy 2 ZS deal is too good to pass up - Sound Card Link - 36.48 after some coupons and rebates

DVD-RW: NEC ND-3540A - DVD-RW Link - 43.99

HS/F: I'm worried about stock cooling in this case, so I'm planning to go with the Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCuLED - HS/F Link - 30.99

TV Tuner: Hauppauge PVR-500 MCE - TV Tuner Link - Already own

Subtotal: 630.96

Shipping: 24.14

Total: 654.10

Any suggestions on improvements or on how to get that total price down? I'm open to anything.

Edit: Changed Video Card

I'd get a single 1 GB stick of RAM myself. Leave yourself more room to upgrade, for about the same price or less.
