Not to be biased, but have you considered a 1055t?

6 cores, efficient with cook n quiet, get a 880g or 890gx board with hd 4250/4290, supports dual monitors, dvxa, etc. The stock Hsf for amd's are excellent.

6 cores could come in handy in 2 yrs.

I've got a 1075t for sale and a 80mm Coolit Eco watercooler for sale too on eBay.

You can get an i7 930 @ Microcenter for like 10 bucks more. For only $199, you get an i7 950. They're good deals if you want any hyperthreading.

And umm...get a bigger case. Decent cooling can be...hefty in size. Antec 900 v2 is pretty decent.

DO NOT CHEAP ON THE PSU.

Guys why is it that the PSU is the most overlooked component?

The PSU should be the 2nd if not 3rd most expensive EQ on your list.

Quality =!= Wattage.
Because something has awesome wattage, it does not mean its quality.

Lastly, the PSU is the ONLY component in your computer which can essentially TAKE OUT your ENTIRE system if it should die.

Because everything in your system is TIED to power via the PSU.

DONT CHEAP ON THE PSU.
When i see people cheaping on the PSU, it makes me cringle.. because ive had a complete system go out due to a bad PSU.

Thanks for your opinion guys, but I'm gonna wait till SB comes out. The SSD made my system super fast.

Isn't OCZ a good PSU though? I know about bad PSU's. Thats why I stay away from cheap ones.

OCZ's generally alright, not a fan of their multiple 12v rails though. I prefer single rail. Had one for some years before it bit the dust but there's not much reason to choose them when you could go Antec, Corsair, or Seasonic.
