I am newbie.

Please suggest a PC case and cooler

Cost was approximately Rs.79k so far....

Are there anymore components I need ?

With a GTX 970 I presume you are going to be playing new games at which point you will need more than 256GB of storage. Grab a 1TB HDD to supplement the SSD.

I am kinda newbie, Is it possible to install OS on SSD and install remaining stuff like games on HDD ? Any component I need for hooking both ?

(If so, 120GB SSD is enough, right ?)

First, your links don't work.

A 4790 is an LGA1150 processor. It won't work on an LGA1155 mobo. I'd suggest a B85.

For maximum CPU performance you'd actually want a 4790K. It has higher stock clocks even if you don't overclock. For better value, just for gaming, you'd want an i5 non-K. I recommend an i5 non-K, unless you have a lot of disposable income.

In most cases you don't need an aftermarket CPU cooler. Just use the one that comes with the processor, unless it's too loud, you're in a hot, non-air-conditioned space, or you get the 4790K. This "Hyper 212X" looks like a cheap version of other Cooler Master coolers, but it should be decent.

ssanjay for better performance use ssd for OS and hdd for games. for the OS and the base software 128gb its enogh. and the best brand is sandisk. and the board its better asus than gigabyte.

the best brand is sandisk

That's definitely not true. Sandisk makes some good drives (Ultra Plus and Extreme lines) and some not so good ones like the generic "Solid State Drive". There's nothing wrong with a high end Sandisk Extreme, but they are usually not price competitive with offerings from other companies such as Crucial and Samsung.

and the board its better asus than gigabyte.

Also not true as a general statement. Generally all boards from the Big 4 (ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock) are quality. There are certainly lemons from time to time, but I would not says that ASUS is better than Gigabyte as a general rule.

Sanjay, are you looking to fit the OS (Windows), monitor, and peripherals such as keyboard and mouse into the Rs. 90K or are you just looking for the PC itself?

I have monitor, W8 license (bought it back during launch which can be used upto 5 systems) but have to buy keyboard/mouse.

Sorry ! Fixed links now.

Yeah, main purpose for building PC is for gaming and no plans to overclock it, So I would be better off i5 non-k version.

Its summer in India right now and temperatures during the daytime are almost touching 45 degrees celsius (~113F).
My current PC (Core 2 Quad, 4GB DDR3 RAM , 425W PSU and 7770 HD) is fine but not sure if this new PC requires cooler. Its just to be on safe side.

Also, Two 4GB RAM modules are better than Single 8GB RAM Module ?

64GB won't be large enough if you plan to install your OS and games/programs on it. I'd shoot for at least 256GB.

Your WD Green is purely to store your pictures, videos, and random documents.

Is it possible to install less-frequent applications/games on HDD and more-frequent apps/games on SSD ?

I mistook fusion drive for hybrid drive.

I was under the impression that hybrid drive works just like Fusiondrive (Apple) tech and thinking that the system uses SSD automatically to store files without having user control for storing stuff.

I will get 256GB one because I am planning on installing most frequent apps and OS on SSD and less frequent apps on HDD.

Here's what I would build as an Rs. 90K gaming PC:

Intel Core i5 4590 Rs. 15k
Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H Rs. 6k
G.Skill DDR3 1600 8GB Rs. 5.8k
MSI GTX 970 4GB Rs. 27.6k
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB Rs. 8.5k
Seagate 7200RPM 1TB Rs. 4k
Seasonic S12II 520W Rs. 5.2k
Corsair 200R Rs. 5k
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Rs. 3.2k
Logitech G302 Rs. 1.8k
Steelseries G6v2 Rs. 6.8k
Total: Rs. 88.9k

The keyboard and mouse are very personal choices, so you can feel free to swap those out.

Thanks !

This case looks much better (minimalistic).

I haven't tried any gaming mouse or keyboard previously, I will get both of those.

Very skeptical about Seagate HDD though, those reviews are pulling many second thoughts.

Is there any reason for picking Evo over Pro apart from cost ?

520W is good enough for future proofing ?

Seagate HDDs are fine, and brand, make, or model can fail. At consumer quantities, your operating environment has much more impact on failure rate than the model of the drive.

As for the EVO, it is much less expensive than the Pro. The Pro is faster, but you won't notice a difference unless you're running benchmarks or high-end enterprise workloads.

Yes, 520W is plenty of power for a single-GPU machine.
