Are you sure the 460 is that much worse than the 560? They both run at the same clock speed; the only difference between them is the memory bandwidth.

What if i SLI the GTX 550 Ti Superclocked?

Half dozen things wrong with that.

- 550 Ti is a bad card for the money to begin with
- SLI is even worse performance for the money because SLI scaling is not perfect, you only get around 70-80% more performance with the second card
- requires four PCIe power connectors and a SLI-capable motherboard which costs extra
- only 1GB VRAM
- with power consumption comes noise and heat
- a single 7850 is much faster, cheaper, half as power hungry and has twice the VRAM

That's comparing a stock 560 to a stock 460. The stock 460 runs at 675MHz/1350MHz/3.6GHz 1GB GDDR5. The 460 you linked to runs at 810MHz/1620MHz/4.004GHz 1GB GDDR5, same as the stock 560. The only difference is memory bandwidth: 192bit vs. 256bit. (Edit: Note that the original 460 had a 256bit bus too; this card is different.)

Yeah but that means you haven't proved much of anything, not sure what the point of linking a bench with significantly different clocks is going to show.

Regardless isn't the 7850 a bit overkill for just the COD series? I'd think a 7750 or 7770 for half the price would still easily run it pretty much maxed out, if not there's always the 6850/460 route.
