Ok so together, that's $771. Instead you could have gotten:

$550 7800GTX (don't need any rebates)
$145 3000+ Venice
$80 Another 1 gig of ram. So 3000+ stock (still has insane overclocking potential when paired with that Epox board), 7800GTX and 2 gigs of ram.....would cream your setup for the exact same price.

The videocard should always cost more than the cpu for someone who is going to play games. In your case the cpu costs $180 more!

Should've gotten a 3700+ SD and OCed it. Forget the 4000+. Also, the LCD monitor?? If that's a 19" you should get slapped cuz a Samsung 930B can be bought for under $350 if not under $300 under very special conditions

Well, I won't be overclocking, and the 6800GT will be good enough for awhile...didn't want alot slower 3000 that's for sure. The price from the 6800GT to the ultra jumps up 150 dollars and im not about to spend 550-600 on a 7800GTX video card, and sacrifice my cpu. So it was a tradeoff...instead of having to replace my cpu in a few years ill be replacing my video card

As far is the monitor goes i got a good deal from fry's because they replaced it with 1 dead pixel and i have over 2 years to take it back if 1 pixel dies. I do not think they had the samsung one
