Building a comp

I have a 81K1100 rev 1 and just got a 3.2 Ghz Northwood for it (HT). I am now looking for a good harddrive and a dvd/cd RW-R. Anything else that would be good to put on I am open to ideas. Thanks.

NEC 2520a is good for the optical drive. For the HD, just get the cheapest one for whatever size you need.

Are you building the computer from scratch? Because you will need more than a motherboard and case ..... What do you have and what are you using the computer for?

Yeah from scratch. I want to get the big things out of the way. What other important things should i get. I am not using it for anything specail really, but i want it to be fast, that is why i got a 3.2 HT. Maybe some games butu not major gaming. And yes this will be the first one that I put together myself, i had a friend that was big intp the comp building thing but he moved and I am tryiong to remember how to do it now. This should be fun.
