instead of spending a lotta $$$ on cd duplicators, i was wondering if its possible to build one, anyone show me a few links to where i can buy the parts, etc..

from my previous experience(4years ago)
the only way to do it is to get SCSI CDR, and CDRW
and u need to get a external 2slot scsi box(depends on how many cdrw u want in it) with build in powersupply for atleast $50<---cheapest i've seen
and a hardware key/controller that plugs in the back of the scsi port which cost around $150

and u got it~~
maybe the price is cheaper now for those controllers cause i good one used to cost over $250
just for the controller.

i still have my setup from back then, and it works great...although i haven't been using it for a while now..it was a 4x write, and 32x read for like $1000 back then...

now i got my 40x cdrw for $125?

goold luck buiding one....that controller is very expensive, let me know when u find a cheaper one...then maybe i'll build another one my self too😀
