Save some money on the motherboard since you won't (or at least, shouldn't) use the SLI function.

What'll you do for power supply?

Looking at the Enhance ENP-5150GH, I'm thinking about buying the 5150GH as my main PSU. Sure the S12 500W is nice, but I can't see myself buying a PSU that's over $100.

Also look at this one. Great unit. It puts just a bit less than the ENP-5150GH.

I am looking at that same motherboard right now. After tons of searching, here is what I found out.

Pros:
-Fairly inexpensive compared to the other Core2Duo boards
-SLI
-nForce5 has lots of nice features compared to the older boards
-Since this is brand new, it should support quad cores for later upgrades
-nForce5 boards have been very successful for AMD, so hopefully it will carry over to Intel

Cons:
-SLI is only 8x, not 16x. However, this should not really effect performance
-The board is new, and may have some initial problems
-It looks to be a poor choice for OCing

I really like this board, and I am really close to purchasing it myself. But I think I have convinced myself to wait another week or two to hear if people are having any problems with certain memory, and if C2D is working out of the box with no BIOS tweaking.

I havent read alot about this mobo but I have read some things. If you arent interested in OCing then its a decent choice for the budget minded. If you are interested in OCing then the Gigabyte DS3 is a better choice for about $40 more. I kinda get the impression you arent really into OCing. It can be complex for the first timer. If you feel nervous, which is quite understandable, then maybe read more into the P5NSLI. Pay particular attention to what RAM people are having the most luck with. All these Conroe mobos have some limitations and problems. One main area is in RAM choice. Alot of people been getting incompaitble RAM with their mobos and its causing them all kinds of problems. Also remember prices are coming down almost daily on alot of components now that supply is catching up to demand so you have time on your side as a benefit.
