Ok, a few months back my friend wanted to have a contest to see who could build the best gaming computer, mine was k8sn/ath64-3200/and 1gb ram(now)/fx5600, and his is p4 3.0, 512ram,p4p800see, and fx5200 video card. He thought his was better because of his Processor Speed. I did notify him of the PR system and all the other stuff and he still doesnt believe it, even though I printed off flame wars on here that was won by AMD fans. Now he wants to do it again and I havent been on here in months and dont know of anything that has come out besides Sli and nForce4. So what im asking is for a $900.00 Budget, please build me the best computer you can. It must involve the Pentium 4 3.8. Thanks in advance, I do realize that its asking a lot but thats why sites like this are made sometimes.
 
is this for gaming? because the p4 3.8 ain't where its at for gaming, and there is NO way your gonna build a system with a 3.8 on a $900 dollar budget. processor alone is $630


oh and your computer was better than his in gaming...but your processor really didn't matter...his video card sucked(as did yours, but not as bad)...
 
Wow that is gonna be some serious piece of crap if it has to have a $900 budget as well as a P4 3.8, which 3.8?????? the 570 or the 670, the diference is mostly the cache and the fact that with the 670 you are already at your budget amount basically....lol

this is dumb.
