I don't want windows 8 because windows 8 sucks...

lol oh if this weren't a technical sub forum i'd have some choice words xD

Have you actually used windows 8 for an extended period on a personal computer of your own? It is a much faster OS than W7, and you'd know that if you didn't just hop on the "W8 sucks YOLOSWAG bandwagon"

I am already planning to take my 500gb seagate out and put a 1tb or 2tb HDD with a SSD and 16gb more RAM so that is why I thought I could just do a 2nd build...

I just don't like the setup on win 8. It just isn't as user friendly as 7...I have it on my laptop...

okay. i dont get this, it is identical to W7 except instead of a start button you have a start screen (aka metro UI)

you dont have to use it, I am almost never using the metro interface, instead i set in desktop mode 97% of the time and in this mode it is almost identical to W7

No I haven't because I don't have much room on my HDD and I really don't want to install a 7 disk games right now.

Also I kinda don't want to add a floppy drive to this computer (my favorite games are on floppy disk, sue me) so I am kinda wanting to make a new old computer anyway with a HDD just for those games because I some how managed to use over half of a 500gb HDD in a week...

Most of the games I got are 3 disk but one of them that says XP only (battlefield 1942 collection) and it is a 7 disk game and that is really the only one I wanted and my cousin gave me all her games so I might sell on or two of them for some money for this new computer.

Obviously if a game came out before Vista, it isn't going to say "Windows Vista" on the box. Have you actually tried the games? I bet they will work just fine on 7.
