I don't think it's chrome lined. It is obviously not a high end piece, but it gets the job done of getting rounds down range. I already have a couple of them and can't complain.

P-Tac is PSA's budget line, as I understand it, it's not the best stuff on the planet, but if you are just poking holes in paper, it should suffice. Sure can't beat the price...

Not an expert, but I'd be weary of polymer lower. I'd go with PSA blemished lowers over poly.

I've had 7 of the New Frontier Armory polymer lowers and not a single issue with any of them. I've even run SlideFire and a Bumpfire Systems stocks on a couple of them with no issues.

You're looking at $55 price difference with PSA's shipping charges at least. Besides, this is a thread for a "very budget" build. There are all kinds of things that you can upgrade to make it a better rifle. All of those things come at a cost.
