Hello!

I really like the low budget build posted in the sticky, but I can throw an extra $200-250 into a system, but not quite the $1000 build.

Can anyone recommends where I should spend the extra $250? I have a monitor.

The machine is for gaming

Many thanks!!

The $750 range is a tough range to make general suggestions on. The first thing to upgrade is probably RAM to 8GB, but from there the decisions are more difficult.

Could you please answer [thread=80121]the rest of these questions[/thread]? And exactly what games do you plan to play?

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.....GAMING...WOW, some of the newer MMO's coming down the pipe and some of the world war 2 games already out. I won't be playing any high res shooters, etc...

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread.....$750ish

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from......US

4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
We can't be expected to scour the internet on your behalf, chasing down deals in your specific country... Again, help us, help YOU.

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.........Prefer Intel, past that I don't much mind on the other parts

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.....no used parts (except my current monitor)

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds....no OC'ing at all

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using? 1900x1280 ish

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Note that it is usually not cost or time effective to choose your build more than a month before you actually plan to be using it......next couple months

X. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?......I'll need an OS

Well, I see that you might wait awhile, but here's a build. Slight overkill for WoW; possibly not for some other MMOs.

The SSD is rather cheap, and probably won't hold more than your OS. If you don't care about the absolute best visual settings, I can see dropping to a cheaper video card (possibly the upcoming GTX 960) to allow for a bigger SSD like an MX100.
