Yeah, looks good.

Wont be able to play B2 on really high settings, but you have good parts for the cost there.

I would say drop the 6600GT and go for an X800 instead (12 pipelines vs 8, 256-bit vs 128-bit), but you're powering 2 monitors, so I'm assuming that 6600GT is the dual-DVI one. The X800 is a better card though, but if you really need dual DVI, then go with the 6600GT.

I figured he had DVI LCDs and that's why he chose the XFX 6600gt with dual DVI.

POWERCOLOR R43CA-GD3D Radeon X800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card for $159 only $10 more and has duel DVI but what advantage over the 6600GT? Does the X800GT just flat out, out perform?

and there's this ASUS EAX800/2DTV/256M/A Radeon X800 256MB 256-bit DDR VIVO PCI Express x16 Video Card at $189 duel DVI

I wouldnt get a XFX card, some peopel have issues but its the luck of the draw, or you can just get a 6600gt here on the forums with life time warranty..

I'd say step it up and go for that ASUS X800. It has 12 pixelpipelines and a 256-bit memory interface, so it'll outperform the 6600GT, which only has 8 pixelpipelines and a 128-bit memory interface.

Sorry don't mean to bring old stuff to the front but i had another question. when reading about my Hard drive i keep comeing across comments like this. "I have three of these drives running striped, and couldn't be more pleased. You do need to get Hitachi utility to get the most out these. The factory default is 1.5 Mb and the utility can change that to 3.0. Also default is quiet mode, and changing that made no difference is noise levels, still very quiet. Great performace if your MB supports ATA II. Better than my old WD Raptors." where do you get the Hitachi utility, how do i know if i have the right one and do i install it befor i install my motherboard driver? So it goes motherboard drivers, hitachi utility then install windows? or can i change the factory default after i got windows up and running..?

I am expecting a delivery of a very similar list of parts this week.

- I did go for the x800gt though.

One thing - I think 80GB gets used up very easily these days, I got 160GB.
