I'm am about to build a new computer, looking to order the parts sometime this week, but I have a few questions about the build:
Case: Antec P180
Mobo: MSI K8N Neo4/SLI Socket 939 nForce4 SLI
Video Card: XFX Geforce 7800GT
CPU: Athlon 64 3500
Ram: OCZ Performance 2GB(2 x 1Gb) PC 3200
HD: WD Raptor
PSU: Fortron 500W AX500-A ATX 12V
My main question is about the Fortron, I was originally going to go with an enermax, but then heard some good things about the Fortron. Does the Fortron have the power cables to be able to do SLI (looking to buy the second video card in about a month), and, are the Fortron PSU's good. I personally had never heard of them till a couple days ago.
My other question, is that I don't want to spend a lot on a DVD writer drive, but I have no clue of what to buy in that category. I'm only looking to spend $100 max on the drive.
Thanks for all you advice.
