Glad to see someone else doing this. I'm getting the ATI 7500 AIW (it has a remote, nuf said) and using an 80gb 5400rpm...not sure about the cpu yet, that will be price dependant.

To all the TIVO and ReplayTV responses...this is a hobby project. I'd buy one of those if all I wanted to do was digitally record TV...this is for fun.
 
i aggree... this is for fun... i guess i dont NEED that fast of a HDD... but what the hell... do i really NEED to OC my 800 Duron? LOL....



i wont be actually building for a while but when i do, i think i will go the route of an Nforce board and a 1.1 Duron, that way if i need to do anything with the machine later, it will be a viable soluttion.....
