I usually go to OT to escape the mundane details of computer hardware.
 
General Hardware can help you better... if not... go to newegg.com and look at the wishlists that people made... that should give you an idea of what to shoot for. 🙂 Good luck.

My friends think a 3GHz P4 will make them surf the net faster... despite still being on 56k. 😕

I heard an ad for AOL Broadband on the radio today, and they were claiming the same thing regarding the 64bit computers that are just about to come out.
