hi friends am a newbie here. i wana build a gaming pc which can play HD movies and games. My budget is 55 thousands Rs. (INR).

I wana use my LED as a tv also. what should i do.
1. should i go for a Monitor tv combo ?
or
2. should i buy a LED monitor and use an external tv tuner card ?:colbert:

3. You should spend 1-2 hours reading through threads addressing similar requests as yours.

Just two hours out of your life and you'd more likely than not have your answer, plus much more information.

They make thousands of TV/Cable cards. Basically it is just a TV Tuner you plug into a slot on your computer. A lot depends on what kind of input is going into the Computer. Is it like a Cable TV input or is it like a satelite wireless input. Some of the cards require the plastic cards like cable/satelite suppliers use when they set up the cable boxes. Try asking this in the Home Theater Forum also. They have some good info on their Sticky.
