If anyone is getting their SO a build-a-bear for tomororw, throw it out.

wait.. you build a bear FOR her?!

Why not get her to the store so she can build it herself?!

Whats the point of buying a finished product for $50 when u can goto toy-r-us and get one just as good for $10?

It's the enjoyment of putting that bear together that counts.

My sister's boyfriend buys them for her *all the freaking time*... and they're annoying as hell. Every single one of them has a sound box in it, and her boyfriend makes weird noises on the recording. She loves them... if she ever happens to bring one near me ever again, particularly if she activates the sound box, it's going to endure a sudden flammability test.

?/???? What the hell did you buy for it? The bears cost $10 and an outfit costs $5-$10. Women love them, and it's an easy gift. How about that.

i walked by one of these workshops in the mall at one point.

on one of the fluff machines, was apparently an unattended dog. (or rather, dog skin)

with the pole that the fluff comes out of, jammed up it's ass.

with that image, i will never go to a "build a bear" workshop. it looks...wrong...

My kids loved the experience and the bears were $18 each. Clothes are optional and extra of course but they play with the at home all the time and they are nice quality.
