I am still holding out on buying a new car. I dont trust my current car so have until Oct to replace it for beautiful buffalo weather starts. I have saved up alittle more cash dor a down payment.

Buick seems to be related pretty high for reliability. Holding off on any test drive for another week awhile I do more research.

I also like the look of 2014 Ford Fusion and they are much more afforable. Trying to buy used under 19k lower the better because my health is going downhill and don't alwsys work 40 hours.

I been kayaking on my good days. So the lower height of a car for a roof rack seems a good idea. So torn.

Encore is in a bit of an interesting niche. I understand that Buick is selling more of them than they expected...

It was originally made by Opel and, in other countries, goes by a variety of names.

The Opel Mokka is a subcompact crossover SUV engineered[6] and manufactured by the German automaker Opel since 2012 and sales started at the end of 2012.[7][8] The Mokka is now built in Bupyeong, South Korea and Zaragoza, Spain.[9] It is also marketed as the Vauxhall Mokka in the United Kingdom[10] and as the Buick Encore in North America and China...

In European markets, the Encore is known as either the Opel Mokka or Vauxhall Mokka, is a subcompact entry-level crossover.

The Encore was brand new in 2013, and has seen only small updates since then. Chevrolet has its own lower-priced version they call the Chevy Trax

If I were in the market for a subcompact crossover, I'd check it out...

Best of luck,
Uno

Buick is forever off my list because of their awful commercials. On the surface their whole campaign seems to be trying to get rid of the old person stigma, but really I think they are just trying to get old people to think that they are cool for buying them.

The commercial where she's on the phone looking for her friend in the Encore and she gets into the grand marquis or whatever is a joke. They show the Encore and its embarrassingly ugly, one of the worst I've ever seen. I'm shocked that the 'reveal' every time I see that ad.

The buick's are good bang for buck when you want a nicely appointed, quite interior. I would be looking at them if i was buying a sedan or crossover.

I hate that commercial - especially the lame attempt at some sort of techno music. I read a few reviews of the Encore when it first came out and about the only thing they had bad to say about it was it was a bit underpowered.
