I don't think there is an issue uninstalling FF, I did it often on a few versions previously for testing. I think its the palemoon installation together with the migration of user data which is screwing up the uninstall.

If anyone would try it, they would switch to it forever!
The problem with many, is they don't give it a chance and continue to use the Fireshitz

PM didn't give any performance improvement in my normal use (it was abit faster in stress testing) but perhaps its because I'm not running it on an old sempron. I'll continue using it out of my preference of wanting something lighter with the junk thrown out rather than any real perceptible improvement apart from being 6mb lighter.

About that pic, how did you get your tabs to be on the top most row (same row as the pale moon menu button)?

Sadly, I must disagree! As I posted, there are references to difficulty in uninstalling FX all over the net, along with posts saying specifically people ended up having to do what I ended up doing.

And that I was also running PM had nothing to do with it. None of the infinite complaints I read even mentioned PM.

Pls see posts 5 & 6 in this thread.

@berryracer. Thanks for the link.
I'd say both my and your link is inconclusive. It all boils down to how users see the browsers performing IRL.

Right-click on an empty space to the right of the tabs and select "Tabs on Top". It's under Options too.

Not quite, if you look at the pic, its got the tabs arranged to the right of the PM menu button which saves 1 line compared to the tabs being underneath the PM menu button.

I've tried them all ie Waterfox,Firefox,Pale Moon etc..I did not see any real speed difference but then everything was fast for me with no real issues,I do miss Opera and can't wait until they bring back bookmarks and the other good features that are still missing in their latest build, that's why I'm still on FF.

I just uninstalled FF24 and there were no problems. No drama there. It did leave behind the profiles so that will have to be deleted manually.

How can I import only Firefox's bookmark bar after installing Pale Moon (having opted to import nothing)?

I use Firefox very little. All the bookmarks I need are on the bar.
