I was in a biology class yesterday afternoon, and we were talking about lactic acid fermentation and other anerobic processes of how energy enters an organisms body.

Anyway, my professor was talking about fermentation so obviously had to put her two cents in about alcohol. All of a sudden she said "Well, I guess we get to discuss something that everyone likes in here. Nope, not sex... not money, alcohol! Well... if you're Catholic anyway. I'm Catholic, and we love to drink...like communion, ya know? Well, too bad if you're a protestant, because they think Jesus drank grape juice... not what it says in the Bible! Glad I'm Catholic."

She just went on teaching about stupid NADPH+ and other topics...Since I'm protestant that struck me funny that she would interject something like that.

I hate it more out of principle than out of the affect it has.... But then again, approximately 97% of teachers and professors can't be fully trusted for info anyways, because they skew it beyond hell. So, basically I don't listen to my profs anyways lol. If I could buy the book on my own, then take a test, I would much rather do that so I don't waste so much time getting babbled to about nonsense :D

Yeah... she is a doctor after all. The principal generally aggrivates me as well. It did have the decent effect to wake me up... I could hardly keep my eyes open because the lady teaches on power point in the dark and continually goes over biological BS that I don't care about.

Hmmm a Bible believing BIO prof eh?

For some fun ask her if she believes in Genesis/Creation/Noah's Ark or Evolution.

Naw, bother me more when my Gov. teacher try to brainwash the kids into Republicans.... Back when I was in Highschool.... I did accept most of his teachings as did all the people in the class. Come to think of it, he was the only Gov. teacher for the school.

When I hit college, my views turn slightly towards left.

I think If my teacher were a liberal, I may be more conservative now.

It depends on the context.
A joke? I'll laugh.
If it's a class that involves religion, then no.
If the prof just out-and-out prosyletizes in class, I'd be annoyed. But I've never had THAT happen.
