:confused:Hi all!
This is my first post on Anandtech's forum. I choose this forum with this problem, cause I think this is the place, where hardwer euthansiants usually meet.
Have somebody met with this bad constellation?
For this news I 've changed my mind and buy a Pentium4 system instead of the KT266A system.
Here is the link:Info

Welcome to AT! Don't buy a P4 System over this!

This is a very rare problem, if it even exists..I have had several VIA boards with geforce cards and have not had this problem. You will be spending twice as much for less performance buying P4. If it really bothers you, buy an ATI video card.

"Only a specific combination causes the error, a specific type of graphic card (the GeForce3), a specific chipset (all VIA-chipsets), a specific operation system (Windows 98 / ME) and a specific driver (Detonator 4). The change of just one point eliminates the bug."

Are you plan on using a Detonator 4 driver?

BTW what is Detonator 4?
