From the pix I've seen it doesn't look like a wolf spider. It seems more like a hobo spider or a grass spider. Either way, it was in our house which I am not happy about (if it's something poisonous)

WTH! :|

You KILLED it!

All you had to do was let it go, for heavens sake! It wanted out of your house as bad as you did!

I was looking everywhere for my pet spider! :frown:

Where did he say he killed it? It still looks alive in those pics.

there are billions of Spiders in the world, if he killed it... oh well, I don't fuck with their webs and they shouldn't come in MY HOUSE. I dunno what kind of zoom he used to shoot that, but that sucker looks BIG. I don't like spiders at all if he killed it I'd buy him a beer. Spiders ain't my friends

You can see the way the legs are unaturally splayed out, and on the one leg the joint is crushed it is obviously smooshed.

It looks more like the picture was taken from the bottom of the container, and the odd leg appearance is a result of the leg's angle, and the conversion of 3 dimensions to 2.

I shall now refer you to JujuFish's assertion before your post.

It was inside one of those bug vacuum tubes. Not harmed in the least. He has been set free but I'm still not sure what it was.

All spiders are poisonous in the sense that they have venom, but despite being scary looking very few are capable of doing any harm to people plus of those the only ones found in MD are the Brown recluse & Black Widow.

Anyway you did the right thing setting it free ... LOL at all the little girls scared of the big bad spider! :p
