its only a small bug, but i find it very annoying.

i like set the font to comic sans ms (in profile -> personal options) its by far my favorite font since it looks good and is easy to read, and easy on the eyes (for those interested i prefer font face: comic sans ms, font size 14). but anyway when the font is set to comic sans the problem is the PM windows are to small.

if you try to send someone a PM the little PM window opens up, but its sized to small and you have to stretch it out to be able to click on the "send" button... you have to do this every time you want to send someone a PM

i tried about a dozen other fonts randomly and none of them had the same problem

also i used this same config in FT3 for the last year or so and it didnt have any problems either

The pm windows are hard coded, and will remain that way for the time being. We are also removing the ability to resize them in the next update as they shouldn't resize (as in ft3)

now that the PM cant be resized its gives a scroll bar :)

so its not 100% fixed, but at least now its not a big pain in the butt

How do you stop them from being resized? Or do you just mean that if you resize the window, the contents will be unaffected?

With Javascript you can set the window to not be resizable. It works under IE at least.

ok its still a problem :)

when i click on the little icon to send someone a PM (the icon in from inside a thread) the pm window opens and it has a scroll bar so i can scroll down to see the "send private message" button

but when im viewing a PM and i click "reply" it opens a PM window that cant be resized and also does NOT have the scroll bar... making it impossible to click on the botton to send the PM

That isn't our issue, you probably have your fonts enlarged thus causing all the content to move we can't possibly predict that. It's a scrollable window so scroll down...

it doesnt matter what size the fonts are, it still does it

and tks for fixing it so it will scroll down :) (cause its now working... but earlier today the PM window created when hitting "reply" didn't scroll, but the PM window from hitting the PM icon did scroll)

its all cool now that i can just scroll down in the PM window (but for some reason yesterday morning only PM windows opened by using the PM icon would scroll... the PM window opened by hitting "reply" would not scroll)

but now any PM window will scroll :)
so im happy!!

but to recreate it just go into "profile" -> "personal options" and change "font face" to "comic sans ms" (it doesnt matter what size you set the font at) and when you open a PM window for some reason its to small

i tried several other fonts, and none of them caused the same result (heck it might just be a problem with the comic sans ms font)

hehe i just thought i was happy :)

but i just tried to send someone a PM and i wasnt able to send it because i couldnt scroll down to see the "send" button, nor could i expand the window

here is how to recreate it
1. set font to comic sans ms
2. in the "from" column click on a user name (this gives the PM history of you and that user)
3. click on any one of the reply icons in the "reply" column

no way to send the pm folowing the steps above (but any other time i try to PM it works fine, i just get a scroll bar)
