I'm having a problem configuring a cd burner to work properly, I keep getting "buffer under run" error when I try to burn mp3's into a cd. Here is what I tried so far, to no avail:
I defragged, shut all programs off in Task Manager, except for "systray" and "explorer"
turned off screen saver
systems resources a pretty hefty 83 percent
I even tried different burning software applications, get same problem
I switched burners with my regular computer
It doesn't matter what brand or type burner I use, it still won't burn, getting the buffer underun
The computer configuragtion is: Asus P5 S-b, with the SiS 530 chipset, AMD 450mhz processor
192mb of PC 100 sdram 20gb ata 7200rpm harddrive
I upgraded the chipset drivers, as, I suspect my problem is with the onboard controller..., not
that it's bad, just that maybe this is where my issue is, I even changed drivers for the onboard
controller.
Could my buffer underun problem be associated with the controller? Any ideas?
