Seriously are they made of baby chicks or some weird breed of chicken? I mean the wings and legs are so small wtf kind of bird do these come from?!! They're not that expensive and I can eat enough in one sitting to kill at least a dozen of these fowl.

--edit--

guys...... I know what buffalo wings are. What I'm wondering is what kind of chicken they're coming from. I've never seen a chicken small enough to provide the wings and legs. Are they made from chicks? I hope not, because then I'll have the PETA guilt to deal with.

What does it matter whether its a chick or a chicken? Most chickens are slaughtered after just 7 weeks.

great now I've brought dogs into this. My stomach doesn't feel right. :(

are you confusing drumsticks with the wing. buffalo wings are from normal chickens, they have small wings, that's why they can't fly. they're like the size of the rotisserie chicken you get at boston market, el pollo loco, etc.

because the chicks go *cheep* *cheep* and chickens go *cluck* *cluck*

actually I blame an old girlfriend that was vegan and had me living the healthy life for a few months. She had many PETA friends.. and I've been guilted from eating such delicacies as veal.

They're babies!! Would you eat baby jesus!!!!! <--I kid I kid

There's no legs - wings are in three sections, but bars throw away the tips. So there's the 'drumstick-like' part and the 'wing-like' part, but really each is just part of the wing...

Oddly enough when you get buffalo wings in Buffalo - they are the largest wings I've seen.

Must be related to all the toxic chemicals in the area

I'm more partial to chicken strips dipped in the buffalo wing hot sauce. I'm the same way with ribs. I want to eat, not work to get every last bit off the bone. :)
