Buffalo Wing Lovers: Wings or Drumsticks?

I prefer medium heat. I used to go with super hot wings, but I enjoy the taste of a medium wing more. I really prefer flavorful sauces, not necessarily hot sauces.

I'm with you on the hotness thing, usually the ultra hot wings taste like crap.
 
Wings.

And I prefer a sweet BBQ sauce as opposed to a spicy sauce, but if there is no sweet I'll go with a good middle ground spiciness.
 
both wing and drumstick. a good batch of wings has a great combination.


as for spiciness a good solid 4. not hot enough to need to drink water but hot enough to sweat!

i'm a terrible wing eater. i fish around for the meat and leave the skin behind. the drumstick at least has a little more meat.
 
I prefer drumsticks. As for sauce, hot enough to need to drink something with them, but if its not a flavorful sauce it aint worth crap to me. mild flavorful sauce >>>>>>>>>>>>>> just really hot sauce any day.

For deep-fried ones I tend to eat it all, but with baked I agree with you. I tend to completely remove the skin from them. When they're baked its just too soft and "fatty" tasting to really tolerate.

same here. used to be all about the hot, but now its all about flavor.

and add a choice for both drums n wings and ill vote
 
Wings and drums, love 'em both.

I only do medium spicyness. Hot enough to make me break a sweat, but not so hot that I can feel it work its way all the way through my digestive track.

I usually order the hottest sauce available at any wing restaurant I go, never had one that was "too hot." I have had some that were not very tasty though. Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin sauce is not very spicy, and it tastes bad ... So I usually go with the Mango Habenaro if I go there, but it's really quite mild ...
 
drumstick has more meat but the wing is tender/juicier, so it depends on whether I have an unlimited bucket or a limited amount. low spicy, definitely more flavorful.
