Buffalo WBMR-G54 port forwarding problem

When I try to open ports with my Buffalo WBMR-G54 router sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and it always stops working whenever I turn off the router or the PC.

Can someone please help me and advice me as to how to fix this problem?

Thanks.

You mean that if you turn the PC Off and does not touch the Router, it loses the Port forwarding?

There seems to be no stabillity or consistancy with it, I usually just do the same thing over and over again and usually works, although I've been trying for a few hours now and it still isn't working.

Well might be that you want to reset the unit and start from scratch, and try to document for yourself what is going On.

Your statement that the Router is losing ports forwarding when you switch off the computer is ?Strange?; Routers keep this info in their own memory.
