Buffalo is getting hammered!

I walked down my driveway today, snow came up to my waist at least.
And I live in the lighter snow area for this storm.

I wish it snowed like that here in NYC. Actually, lets wait until school starts up again ... maybe on the day of my French final. Yes that would be very nice.

Damn cuz! You beat me to this by like 5 minutes. We're soo screwed. I think they're planning in sending us home early. I'll probably end up taking the subway home. Trying to drive home would be an exercise in futility.

Edit: Now there's a driving ban in the city. Why couln't they have banned driving at 8:00 am? I hate.

Edit #2: We're getting sent home. Who says aristocrats lack compassion for the common man?

I was hoping for 3 feet of snow for Ottawa..

Well, it finally slowed down in my area, the city is still getting snowed on.

Its up to my chest now, time to go dive in piles of snow.

Heh. Just got home. Took me an hour which wasn't too bad. Just alot of crappy drivers. Usually take 10-15 minutes. Now my car is stuck, but it's legally parked, so it's all good. Winter sucks. You guys don't want this snow. This is EVIL snow.

Yeah, and you know what's messed up. People keep calling wanting to come over and hang out at our house today. They want to come in from where there's no snow, to north Buffalo to leech off of our beer machine and hang out. It's kinda cool. There are a couple of people here now (including a super hot chick), but these people are friggin nuts. Hey Sammy, whatcha doin? Wanna hang out?

I'm in Syracuse right now... and there flake of snow on the ground! You guys are going to be tough to beat in the snow race this year. But Syracuse always come out on top in the end! Anyone one in Rochester? how you guys doing?

Well, I'm in the city right now. North Buffalo, and this stopped being funny about 18 hours ago. I went out last night to get some food and it's surreal the amount of snow that's out there. Since I parked my car (which is stuck in a spot on the street) yesterday at about noon, it's got about 3 feet of snow on the roof since.
We had to push the mail truck out yesterday (rain, sleet or snow my ass). Just about everyone has been called off of work today. There is a driving ban in the city and most of the suburbs. Yesterday, south Buffalo was in a declared "state of emergency" and I wouldnt be surprised if the rest of the city was in one now.
The worst part about this is: there is just no where to put all of this snow! It's incredible.
Luckily, we can have chinese food and pizza and subs delivered to us (I'm about 2 blocks from the University of Buffalo so there's lots of places to eat).
And still, we have friends who are trying their damnedest to get out here to hang out with us because we have a beer machine and a Playstation 2.
I'll keep ya'll updated when my rage overwhelms me and I need an outlet for it.
