I thought it was a pretty good deal. It usually lists for 89.99 at most other places. Note that they do charge taxes and shipping on top of the 49.99 price. For a zip of 66502 it was another 8 something total. For the 802.11a spec wireless and Linux flashability It's a great deal!
 
Can't speak for that particular router, but I just bought the WHR-G54S and use the DD-WRT firmware with it. Couldn't be happier, really nice software interface and great performance.

Pretty nice specs. If I didn't already get the 125 HSM router/bridge combo from Buffalo, I would look at this.

You mentioned linux flashability. I don't think any of the third party firmwares support this router yet. It uses an atheros chipset for the wireless so what works for the WHR-HP-G54 won't work for this router.

Granted, it has a lot of potential though. The router supports dual channel, i.e. simultaneous running both 802.11a and 802.11g. Potentially, that can be very useful in WDS because you can have the routers talk 802.11a to each other, and still deliver full 802.11g to the user client, instead of half bandwidth like it is now with 802.11g routers.

This router's antenna also seems more powerful than the G54's, which is already 4dBi. I wonder how many dBi this router's antenna has.

 
Just noticed that this router had 32MB ram instead of the 16MB in the HP-G54. If you can get the dd-wrt flashing to work, this is a better deal than the HP-G54 at about the same price, since you get dual-band, a better antenna, and double the ram size.

In fact, at a price of $50, the AG108 is probably the cheapest 32MB router available right now.
