this will be my 3rd PC build, every few years I find it's time to get something new.

My PC will be mainly used for online poker, which involves having multiple sites open, 12+ tables, a database program and probably running a music player/browser all at the same time.

I would like to be able to do some music recording at some point, and play some games here and there although not a priority. A nice sound system would be nice, though I do not want to go through the trouble of setting up surround sound in the room.

My budget is $500-600.

Monitor/keyboard/wifi card will be reused from old PC. (I bought the student disounted windows 7 download from the hot deals forum, though I'm not sure how i'm going to get it to install on a brand new pc. maybe i can install xp first?)

SO I need: case/psu, mobo/cpu, video card, hdd, ram, soundcard/speakers

Would prefer AMD, but not necessary.

Do not plan to overclock.

Building in the next few weeks
