Ok, so big question, what gpu do you suggest? Even if its slightly expensive (which I know will be) I am going to buy it later. :sneaky:

OK, generically, for your budget, you want a Radeon HD 7770 or 6850 with one power connector. Their performance is fairly similar. The cheapest card I found was this PowerColor 6850, but pretty much any card of either number should work for you.
(But do make sure any 6850 you get only needs one power connector.)

Failing that, a 6770 or 5770. (They're the same card; maybe you can get a used 5770 cheap.)

Failing that, a 6670 with DDR5 RAM.

Failing that, any 6670, as mentioned by sm625.

Failing that, a 6570 as in my complete build. OR look at AMD Llano "APUs" (CPUs with 6570-level graphics.)

Failing that, stick with onboard graphics.

Well a 6850 is around 10000 INR and that would completely imbalance my budget, so I guess I have to wait for the card for now.

This is why you never believe somebody who says that money is not an issue, it is always an issue.

OK, so now that we're done with this little song and dance, what is your real budget? This isn't the street market, we're not here to haggle with you. Just be upfront about how much money you have to spend so that we can give you the best advice possible.

27000 INR at max. My prference is i3 2120 and a good H67 board. I can forget about a graphic card as for now and can buy it later.

Seems to be out of stock so I don't really see why it matters, but the board is alright. The B75 chipset does have it's downsides but nothing really major if you use it with an i3 2100.

Out of stock is not the issue, I am going to buy from somewhere else. What are the other issues with the board? Can you suggest any other good board in H67 series?

B75M-D3H is a decent basic board, equipped with all the connectivity and features that a budget system needs and then some.

H77 in general is more expensive than B75 and not worth paying for in a budget system.

There are no differences in graphics card compatibility. All consumer boards that I know of have full length PCI express slots, that's all it comes down to. Even boards from 5 years ago would support current graphics cards.

The Gigabyte B75 board is the cheapest one at flipkart and the specs look decent.

Then what do you suggest between a board that is decent between H67, H77 or B75?

I don't understand what is so ambiguous about my posts

You have a budget of 25000, so don't spend much on the motherboard. B75M-D3H is a decent choice on a budget. I hope your next post isn't going to be "well what board do you suggest then"

It has a SATA 6gb/s port for an SSD, rear panel and internal USB 3.0 headers, four DIMM slots, out of the box Ivy Bridge support, integrated graphics support, PS/2 port, 3-year warranty. It has everything you need and more. Not sure what the downsides are that krnmastersgt was referring to.

Well, if I knew it, I'd never have written it. But one worth noting thing is these B75 boards are really hard to find in the market. Its out of stock too, so either I have to wait or find another board which is itself annoying.

Just checked with the local dealers, no luck with B75 boards. 🙁. They said these boards are not in demand at all. What to do now?

Did you check what boards they do have? Even the H61 chipset is fine if you're looking to save cash. Most of them don't have USB3 or SATA6 since they're not native in the H61 chipset, but they do the job. Some boards do have them though, e.g. Asrock H61M/U3S3

Well they told me no one buys B75 (one guy told me they could order if I buy 4-5 boards at the same time lol). They have Asus H67, P67, Z77, H77. Same with Gigabyte and Asrock. Don't want to go with Intel boards.

OK. Pretty much go for the cheapest H67 or H77 chipset Gigabyte or Asrock. Asus will probably be more expensive than those two

H67 or H77? I can't choose between the two. You gotta help! I think H77 will be more expensive than H77. My main concern is USB 3.0, HDMI, DVI, VGA. I can wait for a while for B75 but don't think it's going to be available pretty soon. I am really confused at the moment. And thanks for all your help so far. Really appreciate it. http://www.priceguide.in/motherboard/
