Budget Home Theatre in a Box

Thinking about taking the plunge into home theatre....except I only have $400. I already have the TV. I think my best bet (or only bet) is to get a Home Theater in a Box. Anyone have suggestions on a good one for this price? Appreciate it!

Both offer some pretty good sections where your question could be answered. I've read some pretty good things about the HTIB systems from Onkyo.

Yep, I've heard nothing but good things about the onkyo system. That's the one I'll get when I purchase my system!

Found some good reviews for the Onkyo S755 and S760 on CNET. The drawback with the 760 is that it doesn't have a DVD player. Is there a newer version of the 760 out?

How do you guys wire the cable box to the receiver? Do you use what the cable company gave you or something better?
