This should do you, the Asrock motherboard I listed has a SB710 so u should have a shot at unlocking that phemon II x2 into a quad core. But thats if you get luck with the chip. I haven't included a a cpu cooler, if I were you I would get a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for £16.80inc. vat ( http://www.ebuyer.com/product/176157 ) instead of using the stock fan, i have heard amd stock fans are pretty crappy but I don't know first hand.

Also the Asrock motherboard supports CrossFireX so u can crossfire another 5750 gpu later on if you want to upgrade. The second pce 2.0 slot is only x4 but thats actually x8 by pce 1.0 standards and you will have no penalty at all, performance wise.

Definitely you get more machine for the money if you go PC, but you get more peace of mind with Apple. Personally, I would get the MacBook Pro, and not the mini.

That's an AM3 board but those RAM chips you've got there are DDR2. Not compatible. Might want to go with an AM2 board, then you can use cheaper DDR2. AM3 processors are backwards compatible with AM2 boards.
