I just recently upgraded (in November) to a 7900 GS...I suppose I'll just have to save up until sometime late next year for a budget DX 10 card...I really regret having upgraded now. Oh well, I suppose this'll have to hold me over until next year; I'm curious as to how well Crysis will run on this card with some decent eye candy turned on.

Are you guys prepared to upgrade the OS to Vista so you can use DX10?
If you have followed Nvidia, then their 8600GT will be about as fast as a 7900GTX.Originally posted by: blacken
Supposively March to April. Hope the '8600gt' outpowers a 7900gt. That will be my choice.

6600GT was faster than 9800XT (ATI) was way faster than 5900 Ultra
7600GT is faster than 6800Ultra
.
.
8600GT is bound to be faster than the previous flagship card (7900GTX)
I have always bought a midrange cards only from Nvidia.![]()
