Budget Case?

Ancient riced-out appearance with no modern conveniences.

See my Rosewill thread here. It's on the first or second page of the section as I added some info and bumped it yesterday.

Zepper's Rosewill suggestion should be taken into consideration. High quality, decent cooling and no frills. You won't realize how good simple cases are until you get one.

You can pick up an Antec 900 at Newegg for $90 AR right now. For real cheap and good I suggest the Coolermaster Centurion 5. I have 2 now and love them.

Might be worth pointing out that Newegg has free shipping on the Centurion 5's right now, $50 - a $10 mail-in-rebate, and to top it off they have some pretty nice combo deals going on for power supplies/coolers with it.

Only two things I don't like about the Centurion 5: front ports way down at the bottom, no rubber isolation for HDDs. Can't argue with the price right now though...

Inwins are the best at their pricepoint, for a variety of reasons. They're stout, well made, and have good cooling and features. They also include decent psu's that will run most budget to midrange systems just fine...

Nothin' fancy, low bling, readily available from a variety of vendors. The Toyota Camry of computer cases...

Haha, that describes a lot of cases. Something similar are the Aerocool cases. I'm looking at these and thinking to myself, "OMG, we used to use these years ago, cost $35 and were beige."

I missed an opportunity to pick up one or more CoolerMaster Centurion cases at NewEgg (or somewhere else?) for an after-rebate $29. But they're still there for less than $50.

And . . . darn . . . . . I needed to get one of those, and for $30 -- that's the 'right price."
