Looks like an extremely solid build, my only beef would be the hardrive not being SATA, and that it's only 80GB.

what difference does sata make? if the op only needs 80GB, then that is all he/she needs. op - get the cheapest, newest sata/pata 7200rpm/8MB cache drive you can find. just recently bb had 160GB seagates for ~$40AR.
 
The Less IDE hard drives used the quicker they go away. I am so happy I got rid of that cable from my machine completely. Unless your good at hidding and folding cables in your machine then a IDE HDD cable will almost always affect your cooling.
 
You say budget build but that looks like a sweet rig to me!

As for SATA versus PATA. There isn't any performance difference. I'd just buy whatever was cheaper and get a round IDE cable.
 
It seems i now have the funds so i like to get a PSU cheak 350W SmartPower ATX12V Power Supply No OCing no fancy stuff of any kind and will not run SLI for long time..
