Sorry for your loss.

Stuff like this scares the crap out of me, I'm 28 as well. Lesson to all: live every day to its fullest. Tell yourself that every morning you wake up and you will have a much better life.

so young. I am sorry. It really makes you stop to think that we are very fragile.

This happened to one of my friends about 15 years ago. He was in his 30s. Same symptom. Headache came on abruptly. He went to bed and his wife couldn't wake him.

Sorry for your loss.

Wow, that sucks. This is why we should appreciate our lives while we can... you never know what the future holds.

My condolences.

Stuff like this scares me.

My Grandparents on my mom's side both had aneurysm, and my other Grandma had multiple strokes.

sorry to hear about your loss... its sad that things like this can happen, with no prior medical history and no signs... I hope the medical community can figure this out some day

A good friend of mine had a similar thing, called a "sub-arachnoid vessel burst" or something. Luckily for him the blood vessel sealed on its own. He had a sudden intense headache, collapsed, went to ER. Brain scan showed burst vessels and hemmoraghing, follow-up test showed it almost completely gone. He went for 6 month followup last week, there is no sign of any permanent damage. The neurologist called him a medical miracle.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. As others have pointed out, it can be anyone at anytime. We should all try to live life to the fullest and appreciate the people around us because it can end in a flash.
