Bud Lite vs. Miller Lite Commercial fight!

Anybody notice this?

Miller Lite has those commercials with the referees (kinda funny, especially the rock star one) taking away Bud Lites and replacing them with Miller Lites.
Bud Lite responds by having the Miller Lite referees agenda be that they're stealing the Bud Lites the entire time.

I love the Miller Lite commericals... especially the one on the beach where the ref said something about the unusally hot girfriend and that he had to investigate.

I have not seen the Bud Lite commerical yet, but have heard about it. I think, as far as marketing, it is a great campaign idea!

Yes it is entertaining. I still like the Miller Lite ones slightly better.

I had better not say that too loud, I am right down the street from AB in STL!

They have sparred in radio ads as well.
 
I always thought those miller light commercials with the refs were crap... bud > miller

BUT, the real good one was the President of Beers commercial and then bud coming back and saying that Miller wasn't eligible to run in the US because they were owned by a German company or something to that effect
 
seems like a number of companies are using this tactic lately.. noteably Netzero with its attack on AOL ad's, and Subway making fun of the mcdonalds chicken strip ads.


I think they're all pretty amusing, although very few of these commercials actually make me want any of thier products.
 
they are good commercials. at first i thought it's from the same company (miller or bud), but then i looked closely and found out that one is the answer to the other with the same referee topic. 🙂
